BRANSON’S AFRICAN SAFARI CAMP IN THE PATH OF THE GREAT MIGRATION

 

African safari lovers have a luxury option in Kenya – Sir Richard Branson’s tented camp, Mahali Mzuri, within the Maasai Mara ecosystem, in the path of the famous annual Great Migration.

Mahali Mzuri is located in pristine bush in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy with 13,500 hectares of bush ready to explore. Against the backdrop of a valley and sprawling plains as far as the eye can see, visitors to Mahali Mzuri can enjoy game drives with experienced guides, delicious meals, a cosy and relaxing atmosphere at the camp - in a uniquely designed, spacious and luxurious tent.

Mahali Mzuri is about 240 kilometres almost due west of Nairobi. The best way to get to the camp is the one-hour flight from the city’s Wilson Airport which serves domestic destinations within Kenya. 

Mahi Mazuri has open four-wheel-drive Land Cruiser vehicles seating a maximum of six guests - with early morning and late afternoon game drives. Night game drives are also available.

For a longer outing, the camp will pack picnic lunches for a full-day drive. Safari Walks can also been arranged, and can be tailored specifically to the guests preferences. They usually last around two hours and focus on the plant life and smaller game ...
